Annette Brasell

Secretary / Volunteer

I have the wonderful privilege of becoming a volunteer last year for Base Youth. I am in my second year of a Bachelor of Social Work degree and part of my training was to complete 60 hours of voluntary service. I chose Base Youth as I wanted to connect with the young adults of Ashburton. I enjoyed it and wanted to continue to volunteer. This year I have set up a cooking programme on Friday session to teach the youth basic cooking skills.
